Hi, I’m Emily! I used to be that gal who loved city life and wanted live in the city until, I met the man of my dreams. He had the opposite dream of living on a farm. Over the years of us being married, the Lord changed my heart’s desire and now I love living in the country while raising my children bare feet in the grass. We have 30 beautiful acres of land for our goats to forage on and our hearts to be filled. I hope you’ll stick around as I talk about natural living, natural farming, and some faith filled encouragement. Sign up to get weekly updates and encouragement too!
I was born and raised in South Louisiana where cooking comfort meals on Saturday nights was what we did for fun. If you know anything about Louisiana cooking, you know it is anything but healthy. While it’s delicious it is not healthy by any means. I would strive to live a healthier lifestyle, but didn’t truly know how.
In 2013, I started experiencing severe digestive issues while in college. After seeing a doctor they described that it was Ulcerative Colitis. At 18 year old, I had my whole life ahead of me, I felt discourage that this “uncurable disease” had changed my life. Little did I know, God would send me a husband who knew all about natural living and natural health. What a true blessing it was to meet him and his family as they taught me a new way of living. It’s been 6 years since I’ve changed my diet and lifestyle and I’ve been able to heal naturally. By the grace of God, this way of living has changed me forever and I cannot wait to share the steps I took to heal and thrive.
I have a passion to share all things natural living, from family life to the farm life. Living naturally has been a non-negotionable for our family. The more we learn, the more we want to share the good news with others who are trying to learn this way of living. I’m happy you’re here and can’t wait to here about you!
